About DTCF

Dream Teens Community Foundation “DTCF” is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization founded by an Atlanta native, Natasha Byrd in May, 2023. She collaborated with a group of dedicated community leaders whose hearts were just as passionate about helping our youth in the underserved communities and together they formed “The Dream Team” of DTCF. We believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed, regardless of their circumstances. We are currently supporting our youth in Dekalb and Gwinnett counties. We have seen firsthand the impact that our programs can have also helped students overcome challenges such as abuse, neglect, and poverty.

Our programs focus on five key areas:

 

• Education: We provide tutoring, mentoring, and college prep resources to help our youth succeed in school.​​

• Counseling: We offer support groups, individual counseling, and crisis intervention resources to help our youth cope with challenges and make healthy choices.

• ​Health & Wellness: We provide health screenings, nutrition education, and physical activity programs to help our youth stay healthy.

​

• ​​Life Skills: We teach our youth life skills such as financial literacy, job readiness, and conflict resolution.

​​

• ​​Community Exposure: We provide opportunities for our youth to explore their interests and connect with their community.
